For the 2011 SCREAMER, we made the 12 & 14 sizes 12% faster and reduced the bar pressure by 8%. We then took the construction to a new level and reinforced key areas for added strength. The 7 & 9 SCREAMER has undergone small construction improvements and minor tweaks for enhanced unhooked performance. We've taken the 2011 SCREAMER line-up to the next level by raising the bar for construction strength and flight characteristics.

The 2010 SCREAMER 10 LTD was a HUGE success and we wanted to continue this powerful model with further fine tuning for enhanced performance. The Limited Edition is an extremely powerful kite using the same design characteristics as the Screamer but with a slightly different profile making this 10 meter as powerful as any other 12 meter kite in the market. For 2011 we decided to tweak the plans of the 10 LTD and make this kite become part of you, improving the direct feel. So now not only do you get the amazing hang time but, the unhooking is even better then last years model, with powerful grunt amazing pop and explosive jumps.
This kite will be good for heavier riders that are looking for a kite to fill the wind range between moderate and light but, don’t want to pull out a very large kite. For lighter riders, this will be the largest kite they need if they ride a surfboard in the lighter winds but, then switch to a twin tip when the wind picks up. Racers and will love this kite as well due to the efficiency and ability it sit more forward in the wind window. Throughout 2010, the RENEGADE was the kite that everyone was talking about! The response was amazing from riders across the globe with varied riding styles and needs.
The 2011 Renegade 9 meter sizes was improved to make it 12% faster with 10% less bar pressure and added structural reinforcements. The Renegade 6 was near perfect, but riders will enjoy additional reinforcement and minor tweaks on the bridle for the 2011 version. Our greatest challenge was updating the RENEGADE 11 meter size. We wanted to make this kite more powerful with less bar pressure and faster than its predecessor. To pull this off we went back to the drawing board and started from scratch! Proudly, we announce the 2011 RENEGADE 11 meter, which is substantially more powerful, significantly faster, and totally stability!
The 2011 Renegade is a new freestyle/wave kite that combines the best of both worlds. The turn of the kite increases in power throughout the arc by pivoting off of the wing tip. This makes for powered kite loops unlike anything on the market. You need a kite that helps you find this nirvana, one that takes you to a new level and pushes the limits of what is possible for waves, wake style, and powered moves. With 100% depower and incredible stability the Renegade leads in all categories of riding. Smooth lively and responsive the steering makes it the ideal kite for surfing and a blast to ride in any condition. New riders will appreciate it's superb ease of use, unreal stability and ultra easy relaunch, while advanced riders will benefit from a predictable kite that has a steady pull through the turns, eats gusts and waits for your next command! We have developed a unique bar system which will allow you to use one bar for your whole range of kites. The XTEND bar switches from 45 to 55cm in under ten seconds. Epic kites are trimmed so that one bar will fit each size in either style, Screamer or Renegade. For a slower kite in wakestyle mode, use the 45cm setting. For a faster kite, set it to 55cm and megaloop that thing! The bar has a Push Away release system that will allow a safe exit for the rider in an emergency. This is a 4 line bar with the Easy Kill Switch System that will depower the kite if you bail during moves, hooked in or unhooked, and have the kite waiting to re-launch whenever you are ready. As a rider, we all know that the little things can make the difference between an epic session and a frustrating session. That is why we created a joint venture with Blade kites to come up with what we think is the safest and easiest to use bar on the market. The focal point of the bar assembly is the innovative Swivel Dome which combines the key features and functionality of the chicken loop and safety release into one piece. Important safety measure to protect both the rider and your equipment by keeping you attached whenever the swivel dome release is activated. On 5-line while on the 4-line arrangements it connects to one of the depower lines. In both setups, the rider can be reassured that the kite will lose all power immediately.
